When one night I was so miserably in love and a song struck me, I had no idea what music was to the fullest extent, like even what is it? But then it started to happen again and again, and as it saved me in so many ways so many times I realized I had no other choice but to bring these songs to life. So I’ve been learning music ever since, and here I am, feeling ready to put my first songs out.
I’m writing every lyric and producing everything myself because I find it difficult to feel songs made by a group of people. When every second song has around 10 people involved in it, music feels less of the art but more of the craft. I’m Just Honest because I will never let anyone not even myself to filter or shape what’s coming out of my heart. I will never replace one lyric with another in order to ‘appeal to a broader audience.’ I’m here to tell a story. My goal is to be as honest as possible even if sometimes it’s embarrassing.
